Asana 2: Happy Baby Pose
Asana 3: Deep Breathing & Meditation
Now, I know that most people don’t understand the practical benefit of deep breathing and meditation, but, let me take a minute and really show you how it works.
Deep breathing is very good for bowel and digestive health, because it gently massages the abdominal organs, and stimulates the rest and digest state. This means better bowel movement, and improved bowel health. Keep in mind that poor bowel health is a varicocele risk factor, and good bowel health is a helps reduce varicocele.
Deep breathing also oxygenates and alkalizes the body, helping minimize acidosis in the body. Acidosis creates flue like symptoms of fatigue, stuffiness, and mental fog. Now, the body expels acid in two main ways: Through urine and breathing. You can hydrate better, and yes that does help. But, a similar thing is true about deep breathing; it helps expel acidity from your body. When your body is in a normal state, it heals naturally, and reaches optimal function.
Now, the meditation aspect is also important, because it helps calm the mind, reduce stress, and push the body into more of a rest and digest state. This simply means healthier blood circulation to the digestive and reproductive organs. And, very importantly, it also means less inflammation.
So, is Deep Breathing Meditation good for varicocele? Definitely! It’s very helpful. It’s both a treatment method for varicocele, and helps address varicocele risk factors.
