​3. WHAT ARE MY TREATMENT OPTIONS?

​Is there a 100% cure for varicocele?

In many cases, our clients fully recover from varicocele. However, saying that there is a cure for varicocele is the same as saying that there is a cure for obesity. There isn't. You can reduce varicocele and make it go away. Then, there are ways of living that will prevent you from redeveloping a varicocele.

It is important to note that varicocele surgery and embolization are NOT cures. They are interventions. Cutting veins is NOT curing them. Putting coils or foam in veins is NOT curing them.

​There are many effective treatment options for reducing varicocele swelling, preventing varicocele progression, completely curing pain, and restoring fertility. Correct the root-cause and recover fully. See natural treatment options below for more info.

​​Are varicocele surgery or embolization effective for varicocele treatment?

Before you even consider surgery as an option, the real question is: Are there safer and more effective treatment options? If the answer is "Yes!" you should not consider surgery as a first-line treatment for varicocele.

​Is surgery effective? The answer is no. It may be effective as an aesthetic procedure. However, it does not significantly improve pregnancy rates or pain relief. Some studies have noted mild improvements in testosterone production.

Since you are here, you probably know by now that I am leading the varicocele natural treatment initiative. There was no alternative to varicocele surgery when I started, but safe and natural options need to exist. ​What medication or supplements do you recommend?

Note that there is no effective medication for varicocele treatment. However, you can temporarily reduce varicocele symptoms with NSAIDs or pain killers. See your doctor for more details. 
Supplements alone are also not very effective. So be cautious of companies trying to sell you magic pills and "cure kits", or saying "just take this one supplement and you'll be cured." It really just doesn't work that way. I have worked with over a thousand varicocele clients now and the supplements have been a very minor part of their results.
