No You Cannot Exercise With VaricoceleWell, actually, yes you can exercise with varicocele, and you should. Anyone who tells you otherwise is simply misinformed. Here is exactly why: Inactivity is a much bigger risk factor for infertility than varicocele. On the other hand, activity is both good for your testicles and typically good for varicocele. Now, I know some people suffer from varicocele pain during exercise. I also know that many of you experience increased varicocele swelling after exercise. But, the real problem is testicular overheating, and poor exercise technique/posture. Now, the easier part to treat for 99% of people is testicular over-heating, and yes, treating it makes a big difference. Can I Weight Lift With Varicocele?Now, we're getting a little bit tricky. The answer to this question is "no" and "yes". No you shouldn't, because heavy lifting is a high risk activity for varicocele. And, yes you should, because it helps improve testosterone production, and has good overall benefits for the body. Typically, if you follow a couple specific precautions before, during, and after activity, you will be perfectly fine (I cover all of these precautions in the Healing Guide), but I normally recommend minimizing high stress activities for the first 2 weeks of treatment, to maximize healing.
