Yoga - Important: Read the Blue Box!
The right Yoga asanas can be great for both varicocele and infertility [science sources: 1, 2, 3]. Why? Well, yoga has so many benefits for both varicocele & fertility! Yoga is a minimum vertical load activity that both promotes testicular health and treats several controllable varicocele risk factors.
Benefits of Yoga Asanas for Varicocele & Fertility
Looks at the above list, it's not hard to figure out why Yoga is probably the best form of physical activity for varicocele!
Swimming - Important: Read the Blue Box!
Swimming is also a great exercise type for varicocele. Like yoga, swimming is also a minimum vertical load activity, it helps improve cardiovascular health, is cooling for the testicles, and also helps improve some controllable varicocele risk factors.
Benefits of Swimming for Varicocele & Fertility
Yes, swimming is very beneficial for both varicocele and fertility. Actually swimmers tend to have lower rates of varicocele than those who engage in basketball or weight lifting [science source].
But... Reality is Yoga & Swimming are NOT Enough.
While swimming and yoga are great for varicocele, there are much more important variables that you need to manage. "Varicocele Natural Treatment" is really about specific lifestyle changes and at-home treatments. We can do so well that--we can make any form of exercise perfectly okay for varicocele! If you follow my steps, I show you exactly how you can make even weight lifting, biking, running, high intensity activities, heavy lifting, etc.--all activities therapeutic for your varicocele! I've broken it down to a science and have exact steps that you need to follow. Don't do nothing--Start Now!
Chronic Excessive Pressure Causes VaricoceleFirst, let me start off by saying, yes you can treat varicocele without surgery. Wow, I know, sometimes it feels like you can't even be active with varicocele... I know because I used to think the same way! The science says that jumping activities like basketball or volleyball are associated with varicocele. Same as heavy lifting and high intensity actives (including: Weightlifting, martial arts, football, and many other sports). And we are also not supposed to perform long-distance activities like running or biking! Seems like the only safe exercise is this one. Extrapolate from here, and you can rule out almost all forms of physical activity. No wonder we then ask "Can I even do pushups?", "Do squats cause varicocele?", and many of us actually give up the actives we love and stop being active all together. Inactivity is a reasonable conclusion, based on the information that's presented to us. But, is it really true? Are all activities bad for varicocele? Should you stop being active? So, Can I Exercise With Varicocele? The science doesn't lie, exercising the wrong way really does damage the testicle and worsen varicocele. But, the key is not to stop and become inactive--because that's also unhealthy for your testicles. The key is to make exercising less stressful and more therapeutic for varicocele. And yes, it's possible! 4 Critical Tips for Being Active With VaricoceleYou can make exercising less stressful and more therapeutic for varicocele. Here, I'll give you 4 critical tips on how to exercise with varicocele. I am a Personal Trainer, Yoga Teacher, Marital Arts Instructor, and Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and most importantly the Author of The Complete Guide to Natural Healing of Varicocele. So, I'm pretty qualified to talk on this topic. And the many, many, many positive reviews speak for themselves--I get you results. These 3 tips will help you, but, I have written a whole chapter on being active with varicocele--so, seriously consider getting the Healing Guide. Tip 1: Keep it Cool Yes, keeping your testicles cool is critical when being active. Our testicles are meant to be kept cool (hence being in a sac outside of the body). But, we seem to really love wrapping them out with layers of thick over-heating underwear and pants. Add the heat produced from varicocele and exercising to this, and you have an equation that equals disasters (Varicocele Pain and testicular stress). So, the first step to making exercising more therapeutic is to keep it cool! This is so important that I wrote an entire chapter on Cooling in the Healing Guide! Very, very important! And it helps when corrected. Tip 2: Masturbation/Fapping Now, is fapping good or bad for varicocele? It's actually very bad when it comes to exercising. But, it's likely fine, only when done at the right time, in the right way, to the right degree. You can try this for yourself: Masturbate 3 times, then go to the gym and workout. You'll come out with both testicular pain and a really swollen varicocele. So, Tip #2 is to: Never masturbate before working out. Ideally give at least 3 hours. Read more on Healthy Masturbation > Tip 3: Diet & Food For Varicocele Now, I won't go into the details of the best diet for varicocele here, but I will tell you to minimize the Nutcracker Effect, you really need to not workout when bloated or on a full stomach. Also, don't be one of those guys who has protein shakes during workout... Ridiculous! Let the blood direct to the muscles and away from the stomach during workout--else you'll have a recipe for an aggravated stomach and impaired blood drainage from the testicles (increased varicocele swelling). Tip 4: The Right Underwear, Pants & Belts Now, I'll also quickly say: Don't wear tight pants or belts! Never! Not when working out! Not any other time. Tight waists make it harder for blood to drain from the testicles (and legs--talk about varicose veins). So, don't wear them! As they say, save the best for last! The right underwear makes a Huge difference on varicocele swelling and severity--especially during workouts. And no, I'm not talking about jock straps and regular testicle supporters! I'm talking about underwear that's specifically designed to help both keep your testicles cool and provide compression to circulate pooled varicocele blood. Testicular Support Underwear for Weight Lifting > Yes, You Can Be Active Now!So here, you are. Pushups are okay. Just make sure to follow those 4 tips. And as mentioned, you now know a little more about what types of treatments I recommend for varicocele--Specific lifestyle changes and therapies for varicocele toxic blood pooling. And they work for almsot everyone with varicocele! As I mentioned, just read the countless positive reviews! So, you have no risk. You can start on my varicocele natural treatment program now.
No You Cannot Exercise With VaricoceleWell, actually, yes you can exercise with varicocele, and you should. Anyone who tells you otherwise is simply misinformed. Here is exactly why: Inactivity is a much bigger risk factor for infertility than varicocele. On the other hand, activity is both good for your testicles and typically good for varicocele. Now, I know some people suffer from varicocele pain during exercise. I also know that many of you experience increased varicocele swelling after exercise. But, the real problem is testicular overheating, and poor exercise technique/posture. Now, the easier part to treat for 99% of people is testicular over-heating, and yes, treating it makes a big difference. Can I Weight Lift With Varicocele? Now, we're getting a little bit tricky. The answer to this question is "no" and "yes". No you shouldn't, because heavy lifting is a high risk activity for varicocele. And, yes you should, because it helps improve testosterone production, and has good overall benefits for the body. Typically, if you follow a couple specific precautions before, during, and after activity, you will be perfectly fine (I cover all of these precautions in the Healing Guide), but I normally recommend minimizing high stress activities for the first 2 weeks of treatment, to maximize healing. Testicular Pain While Exercising / Being ActiveWell, you're definitely not alone. Many guys with varicocele experience testicular pain during exercise. The question is: What can you do about it?
