Why I Made This Page
I just put so much time and effort into taking good care of my clients, and I keep getting the same treatment questions over and over. So, I thought it would be valuable to share the questions and answers with everyone. All personal-identifying information has been removed, and the customer has given informed consent for these to be posted. I'm sure you'll find this page very useful. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions yourself: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Search! Find answers to almost any varicocele and varicocele treatment-related questions.
Mr. Daniel Johnson, B.Sc.
Is it possible for varicocele to go all the way up to the kidney?
Hey Daniel, would it be possible for the varicocele to go up to the kidney? Is the vein connected to it? Could the valves break all the way there? What if the blood pools in? What should one do if it was the case?
Varicose Veins are Shallow Veins
Now, I'm not a doctor, so, please take my advise as is. However, varicose veins do not occur inside of the body. Varicose veins are superficial. That is why you see varicose veins underneath the skin, but is never discussed in deeper tissue. In a similar and slightly different manner, you don't have varicose arteries (arteries are veins that carry oxygenated blood from away from the heart to the rest of the body)--these veins are deeper and have thicker walls, therefore you will never find an incidence of arterial varicosity. The surrounding tissue pressurizes and prevents varicose vein formation.
This is also why wear supportive underwear like STUD Briefs helps with varicocele.
Hope that help!
